Courtney & Eliav have got the kind of ‘couples charisma’ that makes you smile whenever around them & without a word, understand why they made a vow to become partners for life. This connection wasn’t something that grew over time though, but was the driving force from the start of their 11-year romance. The day Courtney saw Eliav, they stood in a room with over 3000 people, yet, within minutes, their eyes had locked and almost gravitated across the room towards one another, passing hundreds of faces & conversations, to say that seemingly simple first word: Hello.
From their first date that day, to their first kiss that evening, Eliav & Courtney became inseparable for the rest of the 10-day Taglit trip. Having traveled from Canada with her good friend Diana, Courtney was swept off her feet with all the beauty the country had to offer, the excitement of traveling with new people and, Eliav’s big brown eyes…
Over the next few years, although distance separated them & at times, the relationship faced its share of obstacles, he was never far from her mind, or heart… And with each passing year, Courtney became the vision of what Love was to Eliav, kind, intelligent, beautiful, determined, and a vast collector of friends, wherever she went. Of course, people couldn’t help being drawn in, it was perfectly clear to him and one of the hundreds of reasons for Loving her.
With each day, their bond grew stronger and with much excitement, a romantic trip to France was planned, filled with all the promise of a magical & romantic time amongst the greatest Europe had to offer! Little did Courtney know, Eliav was bubbling with anticipation. The anticipation of his well-planned proposal, atop a city cafe, overlooking the rooftops of Paris & a clear, undisturbed view of the Eiffel Tower. As they sat dreamily together, eating a delicious cake with ‘Je T’aime’ written across it, Eliav bent to one knee and asked for Courtney’s hand in Marriage. Blushed & smitten, they melted into each others arms, a moment in time worth immortalizing
And with that, a year later, on a sunny day along the Israeli coast, Courtney and Eliav shared this joy with family and friends and wed a top the Bait Al Hayam terrace this time, overlooking the twilit city of Tel Aviv
